HydroMet Pty Ltd offers a range of 316 Stainless Steel dirt box style strainers used to prevent dirt and debris entering and effecting the performance of water meters and backflow prevention devices.

Body styles are available in two types: the “Flat-Top” and the “Pop-Top”. The Flat-Top gives access to the easily removable strainer mesh via a flat top lid flange. Alternatively the Pop-Top has a lower cost cap, held in place with a roll grove coupling.

The flange to flange length can be varied by customer specification, allowing ease of replacement of existing strainers or a cost effective installation of an alternative to the traditional strainer and pipe piece bolted together.

Due to the 316 Stainless Steel manufacture, the HydroMet range of strainers offer long life and low maintainence.
